“The word expressive of Iśvara is the mystic sound of OM. [OM is God’s name as well as form.]” ~ Satchidananda
“The sound denoting that Self is the eternal vibration Aum, which manifests the grace of the divine presence.” ~ Stiles

Artwork thoughts:  This piece is a tribute to both ancient tradition and modern science.  The sound Om is symbolized by the sacred geometry captured in the conch shell and also; “When the conch is blown, the primal sound of Om emerges. Om is the sound that was emanated by God before creation of the universes.” Read here for further information: http://info.iskcondesiretree.com/why-we-blow-conch-or-shankha/.

Derived from Chaos Theory, the underlying image is a Mandelbrot set image of fractal geometry.  A fractal is a never-ending set of infinite pattern.  “Driven by recursion, fractals are images of dynamic systems – the pictures of Chaos”. http://fractalfoundation.org/resources/what-is-chaos-theory/.  It is worth noting, in this context, that the sacred geometry of the conch shell is duplicated in the spiraling image of chaos (which looks suspiciously organized for chaos).
